Mr. Mae El Aïnine Mae El Aïanaine

Mr. Mae El Aïnaine Mae El Aïnaine was born in 1948 in Tiznit.

He has a bachelor’s law degree and also holds a degree from the “Institut National des Etudes Judiciaires” (1971).

He is currently magistrate of exceptional degree (president of the Supreme Court) and first president of the Appeal Court of Laâyoune. Mr. Mae El Aïnane is also founding member of the « Association des Juristes d’Agadir » (1977).

Registered lawyer at the Supreme Court, Mr. Mae El Aïnane has also worked as magistrate at the First Instance Tribunals in Rissani, Errachidia and Guelmim, and at the Appeal Courts in Agadir and Settat.

Mr. Mae El Aïnaine, who was a founding member of the section “Union des écrivains du Maroc” in Agadir, is the author of several books about Cheikl Mohamed Al Imam Ibn Cheikh Mae Aïnane and about the literature and the resistance. He has also done some research mainly about the history of the Moroccan Sahara.

He has published several political, historic and literary articles in Moroccan and Arab newspapers and reviews
