OFFICE OF HIS MAJESTY THE KING COMMUNIQUE

The mission of the Justice and Reconciliation Committee having come to an end this 30 November 2005, its chairman, Mr. Driss Benzekri submitted to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, the Committee’s final report on the tasks entrusted to it by His Majesty the King at the time of its inception, in accordance with the provisions of the Dahir (Royal Decree) defining the Committee’s internal regulations.

Having taken cognizance of the final report, His Majesty the King gave his instructions to the effect that it be published and made accessible to the public.

Similarly, in his capacity as chairman of the fiftieth independence anniversary managerial committee in charge of preparing a study on human development in Morocco, Mr. Abdelaziz Meziane Belfkih submitted to His Majesty the King a preliminary draft on the human development over the last fifty years of independence, and on prospects for the next twenty years.

Having been briefed on the progress of the project under way, His Majesty the King gave his instructions for speeding up the completion, publication and dissemination of the study.
